Cozy Canine Coffee is a woman & AAPI-owned coffee company which aims to serve the San Diego community by sharing high quality and approachable coffee that supports and spreads awareness of local animal rescue organizations and local artists. Our inspiration for our coffee company is our love for our rescue pup, Rhys. After adopting him, we wanted to find a way to support the San Diego animal rescue community and local artists. We hope to encourage and share the joy and love that we have found in our rescue pup, Rhys, through our coffee and community.
our cozy beginning
March 13, 2021 was the best day ever — That was the day that we met Rhys at Helen Woodward Animal Center. His name was Leo at the time and we fell completely in love with him. This photo was the beginning of our new adventure as dog parents & the beginning of our newly complete family. Adopting Rhys completely changed our lives and we met so many amazing folks in the San Diego animal community!

Hi! I’m Caroline, Rhys’ mom & the owner of Cozy Canine Coffee. I’ve been in the coffee industry for 6 years - starting as a barista and working my way through production, roasting and sourcing. I’m so excited to share my love of coffee with folks who also love animals.

Rhys is a rescue pup from Helen Woodward Animal Center. He loves the beach and going on hikes, but at the end of the day he is the coziest pup.
